All injured adults with non-specific low back pain <6 months duration. See other care pathway for managing lumbar disc herniation with radiculopathy.
At initial contact, educate and reassure the patient that non-specific low back pain should resolve within a few months of symptom onset. Patients greatly improve their recovery by activity participating in their care.
